Hello!
My name is Ignacio Peon and I'm an Art Director based in Toronto, Canada. I have over 15 years experience working in a variety of sectors from; corporate, sports, broadcast and lifestyle to media and the arts.
I'm also the Co-founder of Igloo Design, a boutique design studio based in Mexico City and Tiypo magazine, one of the few Spanish speaking publications specialized in typography. In the last few years I've had the privilege to have worked in these Canadian media companies: TVO, Cuppa Coffee Studios, Spoke Agency, Insight Sports and the World Fishing Network.

Approach
My ideas begin with the belief that for good design, everything must have a purpose. When everything has a purpose, design is useful, beneficial and aids understanding. Good design comes from a unity of purpose that’s visible when the client’s message, the product and the presentation are all interrelated.
My design process starts with detailed planning. This helps create economy of design, an economy that’s not wasteful, respects our client’s investment of time and money and is built to last. I strive for communication that is clear, simple and centered on the message.
I seek an appropriate and just solution in all jobs, whether that’s a full re brand for a large company or major public body, or a business card for a small start-up.
